Reiki, Sound Therapy and Halloween; What do They Have in Common?

As I was pondering today’s topic, I wondered how I could incorporate the theme of Halloween in my blog post.  The celebration of Halloween is centuries old.  Halloween was originally known as Samhain Day, which according to Celtic Legends is a day in which the veil between Earth and spirits is closest.  In more recent times, Halloween is celebrated with dressing up and going trick or treating.  Tomorrow is Halloween and I am seeing many ads on TV or Social Media for it.  It is big business in many stores, which leads to the winter holiday season.  My thought was Halloween is such a big fall holiday and there must be some type of connection with my services.

When I brainstormed, the answer became really simple; both are based on belief.  Halloween is the belief in that witches, demons and other supernatural creatures exist.  Reiki and Sound Therapy are based in the belief that the body can heal itself.  Not everything we celebrate or experience in life can be easily described by science, especially when it cannot be seen with our own eyes.  Instead, we need to take a leap of faith and just believe it works.  Some individuals would even call it magic; if you belive in it.  Happy Halloween!
